WHAT YOU NEED TO APPLY FOR A DUPLICATE REGISTRATION

One Government of Alberta acceptable photo identification or support document.

If the registration is in two names, only one signature is required for this service, as long as there are no changes.
WHY NOT RENEW YOUR VEHICLE REGISTRATION FOR ANOTHER YEAR?
Depending on your current expiry date, you may have the option to extend the term of your registration.
You pay the renewal fee, but receive an additional 12 months and save on the duplicate registration transfer fee. A copy of your current Alberta liability insurance (pink card) will be required.
