ALBERTA VETERANS’ LICENCE PLATES

APPLY FOR VETERANS’ LICENCE PLATES IN EDMONTON

Veterans’ licence plates are issued to Alberta residents who are veterans or current members of the Canadian Forces, including Reserve Forces. The Royal Canadian Legion (RCL), Alberta/NWT Command (Legion) has the exclusive responsibility of determining eligibility. If the vehicle has more than one owner or lessee, at least one of the owners or lessees must be approved for the veteran’s plate.

 

To request a veteran’s licence plate for your vehicle or motorcycle:

  1. Submit your application form to the Alberta-NWT Command of the Royal Canadian Legion

  2. Application for a Veterans’ Licence Plate

  3. Receive your approved application in the mail

  4. Visit Registrations Are Us to purchase your veteran’s license plate
